Cleveland Rocks

May 21

I left Brooklyn yesterday on a high note with a nice breakfast with Becca in an outside cafe involving Nutella and Goat Cheese Croquettes (not together). Then headed to LGA for a pretty easy check-in and flight to my layover in Philly.  I did see this amusing sign on the way out of NYC though.

Since I was in the hometown of my favoritest person in the world, my handsome colleague Michael Alberici, (all be it the airport) I decided to ask if I should do anything in particular.  Without hesitating, he said crabfries at Chickie’s and Pete’s.  They really have nothing to do with crab, but do come with this awesome white sauce.

Did I mention that I also was drinking Sam Adams Summer, and it was soooo good.  My new favorite, after Cherry Wheat of course.

After another up and down flight, I arrived in Cleveland where my favorite brother picked me up.  Then took me to my favorite place in Cleveland, The Store.  This is where we buy my favorite scratch-off tickets.  (It was already a day of favorites) I only gamble in Cleveland, and The Store usually has all the winners.  So far I am down $11 with nothing to show.

SNEAK PREVIEW: Tonight, I get to go to Lola, a Michael Simon restaurant.  I love love love Michael Simon, and my brother, Jason, mentioned I can get bacon ice cream. Yes, be jealous.
