#PinkPick 5: Task Oriented Binder Clips

Mar 31

You all know my obsession with binder clips, so these were right up my alley.  No, they’re not pink — but so cute I NEED to have them.  Too bad they won’t get approved by the office.  If I want these, they will probably be on my own dime.

They are from a fun, new online site I found called OfficeFun.com (Can you believe it?) The binder clips come in a couple of different themes, but below are the 2 I would get.

#PinkPick 4: Cat Non-Staple Stapler

Mar 30

Well, most of you know that I prefer staples over paper clips, but I may even prefer this over staples!  It is much more eco-friendly, and pretty cool.

These staple-free-staplers cut a small flap and a notch in the paper, then it folds the flap back into the notch which keeps the paper stuck together.  I am not a huge fan that it’s shaped like a cat (I prefer dogs, Chihuahuas), but at least it’s a pink cat.

Get this along with a TON of other great stuff at ThinkGeek.com (on of my favorite places to go for gifts).

#PinkPick 3: Laptop Pouch

Mar 27

From the Container Store…a distinctive laptop accessory, that also helps you stay organized.

“It can be securely attached to the top of a laptop with the included repositionable adhesive squares. It features a sleeve for holding a business card, a pocket for storing a small notepad or calculator, and a pen holder. It’s a super gift idea for students and professionals. It’s a must for the frequent business traveler – spotting a laptop after passing through airport security is a breeze.”

I LOVE this and plan to purchase it in pink ASAP.

#PinkPick 2: huh duh argh oy stickies set

Mar 26

This cute stickies set made by the fine people at Knock Knock, celebrates some of the best words in the English language!  They seemed to forget my personal favorite though, meh.

I am not a huge fan of stickies made by ANYONE OTHER THAN 3M, and have not tried this product personally.  I know they must be better than the stickies from target, they simply aren’t.

If anyone tries this product, let me know how it is.  My blog is not famous enough that people are sending me products to review.  It will get there.  #PinkPick will soon be the Daily Candy of office supplies.

You can get them at Fred Flare.

This super-cute, spiral bound notebook made by “Bob’s Your Uncle”  features color-coded pages formatted with checklists, daily-planning pages, monthly-planning pages, grids for diagrams and blank pages for everything else.

Thank goodness someone created this for those of us who want to do it all…at the same time.  ”I’m right on top of that Rose.”

Push Paper Shredder

Mar 20

So, life’s been crazy lately — and it has been hard to blog.  I volunteer in a non-profit organization called Ad 2 Orlando that is for young professionals in advertising, PR and marketing and we’ve been putting together our “Club Achievement Books” which basically encompasses an entire organizational year into an award entry.  Of course, the one I put together was the most perfect binder ever, perfectly organized and assembled with love. :)

But, that’s not what I want to blog about today.  I need to show you all the Push paper shredder.  I work for a company called Push, this is a strategic and creative advertising, branding and interactive agency.  We work closely with a promotional product vendor called Match-Up Promotions.  Out of the blue, a little Push branded paper shredder arrived in our office.  (However, there wasn’t one for me — but perhaps that will change after all this free publicity)

Well, the power is what would be expected for a shredder of its caliber, but I haven’t gotten to the best part… It plugs into the USB port. OMG.  Check this things out.  Talk about a promo product staying in sight at all times.  This gets 5 pink stars from me.  pinkstars

I HATE PAPERCLIPS!

Mar 10

As some of you know, my first blog referenced that I hate paper clips.  I would like to amend that and say that I loathe paper clips.  Many of my readers and tweeple have asked, “Why do you hate paper clips?”  So, let me count the ways…

-When you have a stack of papers, all in paper-clipped groups — they don’t keep the pages together.

-Even when you put the clips on the sides — things don’t stay together much better.

-They aren’t cute.

-Even the colored paper clips, that are a bit cuter than the standard, don’t hold anything together.  The vinyl coating makes them suck.

-Microsoft word’s help function, that doesn’t help anyone is a paper clip.

Staples keep everything together so much better, and even more awesome that staples are binder clips.  I LOVE BINDER CLIPS.  They serve so many purposes, and come in a billion different sizes.  My favorite ones are super tiny.  Our old receptionist once ordered them by accident, and I’ve been obsessed ever since.

Urban Camouflage

Mar 07

I saw a friend of mine from work tweet about this site on Twitter, and I absolutely love the idea…urban camouflage.  What a great idea to perform research — or even just have some fun.

Below is an example of urban camouflage as two-pocket folders.  So cool!

I am thinking of what could be next, urban camouflage of staplers — that could be dangerous, maybe Sharpies?
